Keanu Reeves And Alex Winter Are Back In Bill And Ted Face The Music See The First Images From T
This news is most excellent. It’s been thirty years since Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter starred as Ted Theodore Logan and Bill S. Preston Esq. in the surprise 1989 hit Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and the 1991 follow-up Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. Now, the two actors have reunited for the third film in the franchise Bill & Ted Face The Music, and the first images have been released from the long-awaited sequel.
According to Entertainment Weekly, it was their special Bill & Ted reunion nearly two years ago that featured Reeves, Winter, and writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon that proved fans were hungry for a third movie.

Solomon told the publication that the response to that reunion was “staggering to even the biggest cynics,” and that was great news for them when they were discussing their ideas for a third film. The latest flick finds Bill and Ted still trying to come up with the music for their band Wyld Stallions that will save the world, and they suddenly find out that they are running out of time.
“They were told when they were teenagers that they were going to save reality, and they’ve been working on it the whole time,” says Matheson. “Now an emissary from the future comes and says, ‘You’ve got to do it right now. We’ve got literally 80 minutes or all of reality will come to an end.’”
Luckily, the duo has some help in this movie from an unexpected place: their daughters. Samara Weaving plays Bill’s daughter Thea, and Ted’s daughter Billie is played by Brigette Lundy-Paine. Matheson says that the daughters “really love their dads’ music,” and that is why they want to help out.

Other members of the cast include Saturday Night Live’s Beck Bennet as Ted’s younger brother Deacon, and musician/actor Kid Cudi plays himself. Director Dean Parisot says that Kid Cudi gets “mysteriously thrown around through various times because all time and space is coming unglued.”
It’s no secret that Reeves has had a wildly successful acting career since the last time he played Ted. But, fans might not know that Winter has had a successful career as a documentary filmmaker. Even though it’s been a while since he has acted, Winter isn’t worried.
“If I was going back into doing fricking King Lear, then I would have been wetting my nappies,” he says. “But I do know this guy pretty well.”
